Janine utilizes her many years of litigation experience to serve our clients in the areas of criminal, civil and estate litigation at both the trial and appellate levels.

Janine received her Juris Doctorate from the University of Pittsburgh in 2007, where she also earned a B.S. in psychology and political science in 2004. 

Janine began her career as a prosecutor with the Allegheny County District Attorney’s Office, where she handled both trial and appellate matters.  Upon entering private practice, she began representing clients in a wide variety of criminal and civil litigation matters, and appellate advocacy. Prior to joining the firm, Janine served as a litigation attorney at two local law firms, where she handled matters including general commercial and tort litigation, premise liability, personal injury, insurance coverage disputes, animal law, medical malpractice, and healthcare-related legal issues. 

Janine is admitted to practice before the Pennsylvania Supreme Court and the United States District Court for the Western District of Pennsylvania, and she holds an inactive license in the state of South Carolina. She is a member of the Pennsylvania Bar Association, Allegheny County Bar Association, and Washington County Bar Association.  

Janine is a life-long resident of Pittsburgh. In her spare time, she teaches dog obedience skills to puppies and their owners, and she trains and competes with her own canine companions in various dog sports.
