Rachel Cipolat is Of Counsel and provides representation to clients in Allegheny County Orphans’ Court Division.
Rachel obtained her juris doctor from West Virginia University College of Law in 2010. Prior to law school, Rachel attended the University of Charleston (WV) from 2002-2007 where she graduated summa cum laude.
Rachel has been employed with Allegheny County since 2015. Rachel has served as a judicial law clerk in both the Family and Criminal Divisions of the Allegheny County Court of Common Pleas. Rachel is currently employed as an Assistant County Solicitor in the Allegheny County Law Department where she is the supervisor of the mental health unit and oversees matters involving the Mental Health Procedures Act and civil commitments in the Orphans’ Court Division. Rachel also serves as legal counsel for the Allegheny County Department of Human Services Office of Behavioral Health (OBH) and Office of Developmental Support (ODS).
