Attorney Matthew V. Rudzki is a lifelong Sharpsburg resident and graduate of Washington & Jefferson College and the Duquesne University School of Law. Prior to attending Duquesne, Matt taught English in Austria on a fellowship  through the Austrian-American Education Commission as administered by the Fulbright Program. While in law school, Matt was a member of the Jessup International Law Moot Court team and served as a research assistant to Dr. Kirk W. Junker in Cologne, Germany, for three summers. Matt has been named as a Pennsylvania Rising Star by Super Lawyers on three occasions. Matt’s practice focuses on estate planning and administration, real estate tax assessment matters, and personal injury.

In his spare time, Matt focuses much of his energy on community building in Sharpsburg and the region. Matt serves as mayor of Sharpsburg, after previously serving three terms on Sharpsburg Council. He is also a board member of the Sharpsburg Neighborhood Organization, the Fox Chapel District Association, and the Volunteers of America Youth Empowerment Project, and served on Pastoral Council for St. Juan Diego Parish prior to parish consolidation. Matt, his wife Bridget, and their daughter Lydia reside in Sharpsburg, and enjoy traveling, biking, kayaking, and skiing.
