Because of his extensive court and government experience, Judge Saveikis provides clients with insight into the inner working of the court system, as well as state and local agencies. He practices in the areas of business formation, tax structuring, and commercial transactions; Marcellus Shale; and real estate. With 22 years of experience in real estate, civil, and business matters, he has worked closely with the County Department of Economic Development and Aviation, and County row offices. Judge Saveikis has served as an arbitrator for the Court of Common Pleas, and as court appointed counsel for indigent juveniles. First elected Magisterial District Judge of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania in 2011, he was reelected in 2008. In this capacity, he serves the communities of North Fayette Township, Findlay Township, Oakdale, McDonald, and the Pittsburgh International Airport.
Judge Saveikis received his Juris Doctor degree from Capital University Law and Graduate Center in 1993. He earned a B.A. from Washington and Jefferson College in 1989.
He is admitted to practice in Pennsylvania and licensed to practice before the United States District Court. In 2001, Judge Saveikis was appointed to the Agriculture Land Preservation Board, where he continues to serve today.
The Pennsylvania DUI Association has honored Judge Saveikis. He has been a guest lecturer at Duquesne University, Point Park University, the Pennsylvania State Police Citizens Police Academy, and has remained an annual faculty volunteer for Allegheny County’s Camp Cadet Program.
